The talented peeps of FMU, the vacation is on us. Thinking of creating some art? Thinking of picking up a camera? Thinking of gaming with friends? Then why not do it together in a more competitive and fun-filled way? It’s time we push our skills and creativity to the limits as Inside FMU announces “FMU’S GOT TALENT“, the first of its kind contest with such a large prize pool. The continuation of “Drawthon FMU 2021” but on a much larger scale, more categories and of course with endless fun and thrill. Waiting for what? Get your canvas & gamepads ready, because you are going to rock now! Be the Picasso of FMU.

This competition has the following categories:

  • Painting
  • Sketching
  • Calligraphy
  • Photography
  • Gaming (PUBG, LUDO, Chess)

Eligibility:

All Students of All Classes of Faisalabad Medical University are eligible.

Deadlines: (Extended)

  • For Painting, Sketching, Calligraphy and Photography: 15 July 2022
  • For Gaming: 06 July 2022 (Registrations have been CLOSED for Gaming category) Scorecards are available at the end of this page.

WORRYING, HOW TO APPLY??? 

First, read the rules and regulations given below for each category. Application procedure is given at the end of this page.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1- Painting:

Theme:

General

Material:

Any artistic material can be used like paints, crayons, pencils, to make paintings. Push your creativity to limits! Because here we see NO LIMITS!

Judging:

The entries shall be judged by the Panel of Judges from Multiple Societies of FMU such as Netizens & FMU Arts Club. The Scoring shall be based on out of 10 ratings from each judge. Highest average score shall decide the winner.

Rules:

  • The submitted entry must strictly be yours and shall not be plagiarized. In order to rule out this thing, submit your entries in 3 shots (i.e. 1. With the beginning – outlines 2. Midway through the progress, 3. Final output) or a short video of progress or anyway proving the originality of artwork along with your signature
  • Try to capture photos of your artwork in the best possible angles, lights and other aesthetics to get the best score of your talent.
  • You can send as many entries as you want 
  • The organizers have all rights to rule out any entry at any stage of the contest, and the points awarded by the judges are unchallengeable.

2- Sketching:

Theme:

  • General

Judging:

The entries shall be judged by the Panel of Judges from Multiple Societies of FMU such as Netizens & FMU Arts Club. The Scoring shall be based on out of 10 ratings from each judge. Highest average score shall decide the winner.

4- Photography:

Type:

  • Nature
  • Portraits

Judging:

  • The entries shall be judged by the Panel of Judges which include some famous photographers of Faisalabad Medical University. The Scoring shall be based on out of 10 ratings from each judge. Highest average score shall decide the winner.
  • Entries will be judged by a judging panel on their artistic merit, originality, subject and style. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The panel would have authority to disqualify any photograph not meeting the standards of competition

Rules:

  • The submitted entry must strictly be yours and shall not be plagiarized.
  • No sky replacements or photoshopped images with added structures in landscape category.
  • Only colour correction will be allowed.
  • You can send only 2 photos per person per category.
  • The organizers have all rights to rule out any entry at any stage of the contest, and the points awarded by the judges are unchallengeable.

HOW TO APPLY???

  • This year, only Online entries will be accepted. Online portal has been developed to get entries for “FMU GOT TALENT”. 
  • Any Entry submitted through our any other social media handle or personally through WhatsApp or any other way will NOT be accepted.
  • Maximum file upload size is 25 MB/file. If somehow your file is even bigger than that, contact site administrator via [email protected] or [email protected] or “contact us form” available on the website.
